The Hitman Scam
This email scam was quite popular for some years then died a death but now seems to have been resurrected again.
To receive an email in your inbox informing you that you're about to die and be killed by a hitman isn't nice - in fact it can be quite frightening to say the least!
This scam is worded to imply that you are being watched and montitored by a hitman who is being paid to end your life. The first email you receive asks you to reply to him urgently.
Future emails then attempt to scam the victim asking for money for the hitman not to carry out the job.
A simple scam but when cleverly worded by the scammer can instill a feeling of panic and uncertainty to anyone who isn't fully aware of email scams.
If you receive one of these emails simply delete it!
