About Us
The Sisters Of Spam were created to fight back against the spammers and scammers who make all our lives a misery. They fill up our inboxes with emails we don't want and don't need. In the worst cases, they try to trick unsuspecting people out of their savings and to unknowingly give out their personal details.
The Sisters are here to educate everyone about email scams and to explain how they work and what you should do (or shouldn't do) if you find any in your inbox. It's all done tastefully and with a little touch of Scottish humour as you'll soon see!
The convent has volunteers based in many locations who spend time each day or week concentrating on closing down the reply email addresses used by scammers in scam emails. Reports are sent to each email provider helping to ensure that the reply account is terminated quickly and strongly reducing the possibility of anyone being able to reply to the scam email and becoming a victim.
We hope you enjoy the various scam baits we have included on the site - we'll continue to add to these as time goes on, though please remember they take some time to complete.
